NOUN Officially Renames Tourism Program to Hotel and Tourism Management

The Management of the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) has announced an official update to the nomenclature of its Tourism degree. Effective immediately, the program formerly known as Tourism Studies has been renamed Hotel and Tourism Management.

This change reflects a strategic shift toward a more industry-focused curriculum, designed to encompass the broader hospitality sector. By expanding the program's scope, the university aims to better align student training with the practical demands of the global travel and hotel management industries.
