NSUK Cyberspace Studies Board Congratulates Prof. Maxwell Gidado on Pro-Chancellor Appointment
On September 9, 2024, the Centre for Cyberspace Studies Board at Nasarawa State University, Keffi, congratulated Professor Maxwell Gidado SAN on his appointment as Pro-Chancellor of Adamawa State University.
On Monday, September 9, 2024, the Board of the Centre for Cyberspace Studies at Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), extended their congratulations to Professor Maxwell Gidado SAN following his appointment as Chairman of the Governing Council (Pro-Chancellor) of Adamawa State University, Mubi.
The congratulatory visit took place in the Boardroom of the Faculty of Law at NSUK. Professor Yakubu Boyi Ngwai, Chairman of the Board and Director of the Directorate of Research, Innovation, and Enterprise at NSUK, led the delegation. He praised Professor Gidado’s appointment as a well-deserved recognition of his extensive experience and competence, underscoring his significant contributions in various capacities within and outside the university.
In his response, Professor Gidado expressed his sincere gratitude to the NSUK Board for their warm and supportive gesture. He noted that this was the first time he had received such a personal congratulations from within the university, which he described as a substantial encouragement and a timely boost. Gidado also acknowledged the support of past Vice-Chancellors at NSUK, which he credited for enabling his growth and contributions to the university.
The event concluded with prayers for a successful tenure and the presentation of a congratulatory letter to Professor Gidado. A group photograph was taken to mark the occasion.
Before his new role at Adamawa State University, Professor Maxwell Gidado was an esteemed member of the Centre for Cyberspace Studies Board at NSUK.
