NSUK PhD Scholar Wins Vice-Chancellor's Research Grant

Makanjuola Rasheed Osuolale, a GHIDI PhD scholar at Nasarawa State University (NSUK), Keffi, has won the Vice-Chancellor's Research Grant award.

His research, "Bioengineering of a Novel Lateral Flow Immunoassay for Rapid and Simultaneous Diagnosis of Plasmodium Species," aims to develop a diagnostic tool for malaria.

Osuolale is currently conducting his PhD research at the University of Pavia, Italy, for six months. The award ceremony was attended by NSUK's Deans, Directors, and postgraduate students, with former Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammed Akaro Mainoma as Special Guest of Honour.
