NSUK Registrar Honoured With ANUPA Award of Excellence at AGM & Conference
The Registrar of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to university administration, receiving the ANUPA Award of Excellence during the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference.
The Registrar of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Dr. Bala Isyaka Ahmed II, has been recognized for his exceptional contributions to university administration, receiving the ANUPA Award of Excellence during the Association of Nigerian University Professional Administrators (ANUPA) Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Conference.

The event was held on Wednesday at the Idris Abdulkadir Auditorium, NUC, Abuja, with the award presented by ANUPA National President, Dr. Victor Mkuma Bem.
The accolade celebrates Dr. Ahmed’s visionary leadership, integrity, and commitment to institutional excellence, highlighting his influence on university administration both in Nigeria and across Africa. His work has set a benchmark in professionalism, accountability, and service-oriented administration.

Delivering his keynote address at the AGM, Dr. Ahmed, who also serves as Chairman of the Committee of Registrars of Nigerian Universities and Pioneer President of the African Universities Registrars’ Association (AURA), spoke on the theme “Driving Excellence in University Administration.” He emphasized resilience, innovation, quality assurance, and technology adoption as critical pillars for administrators, while commending ANUPA for fostering professionalism through training, AI integration, risk management, and inclusive governance.
Dr. Ahmed further acknowledged the support of Hon. Pascal Agbodike toward the ANUPA charter, noting its significance for the future of university administration in Nigeria.

This achievement reflects positively on the entire NSUK community and reaffirms Dr. Ahmed’s standing as one of Africa’s most distinguished university administrators.
