The Vice-Chancellor of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, has reaffirmed the institution's commitment to academic excellence and collaboration among higher education institutions during the 11th Combined Convocation Ceremony of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa.

Professor Liman led the NSUK delegation to the ceremony held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the Ta'al Sports Complex, Nasarawa. The event brought together government officials, heads of tertiary institutions, traditional rulers, members of the diplomatic and education communities, captains of industry, alumni, parents and well-wishers to celebrate graduates from the 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.

Her participation underscored the longstanding relationship between Nasarawa State University, Keffi and its affiliate institution, the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, while highlighting the university's commitment to strengthening inter-institutional collaboration for the advancement of higher education.

Addressing the gathering, Professor Liman congratulated the Rector of the Federal Polytechnic, Nasarawa, Dr. Hauwa Tanko Muhammad, the Governing Council, management, staff, students, alumni and the entire polytechnic community on the successful hosting of the convocation ceremony.

She commended the institution for its contributions to technical and vocational education, describing it as a key driver of Nigeria's manpower development through the training of skilled, innovative and entrepreneurial graduates.

The Vice-Chancellor also congratulated the graduating students and urged them to remain worthy ambassadors of their alma mater by upholding the values of excellence, integrity, innovation and professionalism. Representing the Governor of Nasarawa State, Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Agbadu Akabe, congratulated the institution on the successful convocation and appreciated the Federal Polytechnic for conferring a Fellowship Award on the Governor.

Dr. Akabe praised the Rector for her leadership and commended the Governing Council and management for sustaining academic excellence and institutional growth. He reaffirmed the importance of technical and vocational education in promoting industrialisation, innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable national development, while reiterating the state government's commitment to supporting educational institutions.
