Leading the NUC delegation, Mrs. Clara Abu, Deputy Director at the Commission, expressed appreciation to the UCH management for their warm reception and cooperation, describing the exercise as seamless and well-organized.

Also speaking, Professor Umar Lawal from Bayero University, Kano, and a member of the visiting team, explained that the purpose of the visit was to assess both human and material resources available at the School of Nursing ahead of the official take-off of its degree programme. “It is a purely academic review exercise,” he noted.

In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director of UCH, Professor Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, commended the NUC team for their efforts and assured them of the management’s full support in ensuring a successful verification exercise.

The visit marks another milestone in UCH’s ongoing efforts to expand academic offerings and strengthen its position as a leading institution in healthcare training and education.
