NUESA-BUK Holds Productive Meeting with Faculty of Engineering Class Representatives

The Nigerian Universities Engineering Students' Association (NUESA), Bayero University Kano Chapter, led by President Sen. Usman Shuaib Bosha, held a successful meeting with class representatives from the Faculty of Engineering on Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

The meeting aimed to address various concerns affecting the student body and the faculty, with key discussions focusing on:

- Implementing a lab report and office file system for students, as approved by the Dean

- Strategies to tackle carryovers and examination misconduct within the faculty

- Providing a dedicated resting area for female engineering students

- Introducing tutorials for lower-level students

- Creating a conducive reading and self-study space within the faculty, particularly at night

- Establishing motorcycle parking facilities for engineering students

The meeting was marked by active participation from all class representatives, and NUESA-BUK expressed appreciation for their engagement. The association looks forward to continued collaboration to address the raised concerns and issues.
