NUJ Kano Delegation Visits ADUSTECH Wudil to Strengthen Institutional Ties

A high-powered delegation from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano Chapter, paid a working visit to the Vice-Chancellor of Aliko Dangote University of Science and Technology (ADUSTECH), Wudil, on Thursday, January 15, 2026.

The delegation, led by Murtala Adewale, was received at the university campus by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Musa Tukur Yakasai (Sarkin Kudun Gaya), and members of the university's management team.

The visit aimed to strengthen the relationship between the academic community and the press. Discussions focused on areas of mutual interest, including the effective reporting of the university’s research breakthroughs, infrastructural developments, and the promotion of science and technology education in Northern Nigeria.

Professor Yakasai commended the NUJ for its role in societal development and underscored the importance of accurate, development-oriented journalism in highlighting the progress of tertiary institutions. The visit comes at a significant time for ADUSTECH, following the recent commissioning of renovated student hostels and the ongoing execution of several mega-infrastructure projects on the Wudil campus.
