OOU Strengthens Collaboration with CBN for Enhanced Service Delivery

Olabisi Onabanjo University, OOU, Ago-Iwoye, has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening academic-industry collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, for enhanced service delivery in research, capacity building and community development.

The University noted that the partnership with the CBN is aimed at leveraging the expertise of both institutions to promote financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and research that addresses national economic challenges.

Speaking on the collaboration, the Vice-Chancellor of OOU said the University remains committed to working with key national institutions to ensure that academic programmes are aligned with industry needs and national development priorities. He added that the partnership will create more opportunities for students, staff and the larger community to benefit from CBN's initiatives in agriculture, small and medium enterprises, and financial inclusion.

The Central Bank of Nigeria, through its various development finance interventions, has continued to engage tertiary institutions across the country to deepen knowledge transfer, promote innovation, and support sustainable economic growth.
