Osun State Polytechnic, Iree Announces JAMB Regularization Deadline

The Directorate of Academic Affairs at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, has issued an internal memorandum to inform the Polytechnic Community of a critical update from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB).

As per JAMB’s directive, all tertiary institutions in Nigeria are required to disclose admissions completed outside the JAMB system before the introduction of the Central Admission Processing System (CAPS) by 30th September 2024.

The notice, dated 17th September 2024, emphasizes the importance of adhering to this directive as JAMB will no longer condone admissions that lack a JAMB Registration Number. The regularization of studentship is now mandatory.

All Part-Time programmes (Evening, Daily, and Weekend) and Pre-National Diploma (Pre-ND) students with matriculation numbers from 2016 and earlier who have not completed JAMB Regularization are required to visit the Admission Office with a photocopy of their ND results. This step is necessary to update their records with JAMB. Failure to comply by the end of September 2024 will result in students being ineligible for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), unable to collect discharge certificates, and excluded from direct entry admissions nationwide.

The Polytechnic community is urged to publicize this notice widely to ensure compliance.
