The Plateau State University has announced the commencement of the exit clearance exercise for its 2025 graduating students, as part of preparations for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilisation process.
According to a notice issued by the university management, the exercise will officially begin on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
The institution stated that the clearance process is aimed at ensuring a smooth and coordinated mobilisation exercise for prospective corps members and urged affected graduates to strictly comply with all outlined procedures.
The university directed graduates to follow the steps below:

Check your name on the graduation list at your department.

Proceed to your faculty Finance Officer with all your tuition fee receipts for verification and collect the Bursary Clearance Form.

Complete the form and ensure it is signed and stamped by the Finance Officer.

Proceed to the Directorate of Students’ Affairs to obtain and fill the NYSC Mobilization and Exit Clearance Form.

Obtain all required clearances from relevant departments and units.

Submit the duly completed mobilisation form at the NYSC Unit of the Directorate of Students’ Affairs with the following attached:
- Recent printed JAMB admission letter
- Exit Clearance Form
- Bursary Clearance Form
- Statement of Result
The university advised all affected graduates to comply promptly with the requirements to avoid delays in the mobilisation process.
