Prof. Lawal Bala Buratai Assumes Office as Nigerian Army University Biu Vice Chancellor

Professor Lawal Bala Buratai has officially taken office as the 3rd substantive Vice Chancellor of Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB), following his appointment by the University Governing Council on April 16, 2025.

Professor Buratai was warmly received by top university management staff, led by the University Overseer and Deputy Vice Chancellor (Military), Brigadier General JT Aun. The outgoing leadership team handed over to him, expressing gratitude to the University Governing Council for their service.

In his first official address, Professor Buratai appreciated the university community and pledged to maintain an open-door policy, seeking support and cooperation to move the university forward. He assured the university of his commitment to fulfilling his duties diligently.

The University Governing Council and other stakeholders have urged everyone to join hands in building on the university's gains, ensuring its continued success and growth. Professor Buratai's leadership is expected to drive the university's progress and development.
