This promotion makes him the first Professor of Accounting from the Mambilla Plateau, the second in Taraba State, and the seventh in the Northeast sub-region of Nigeria.
The confirmation of his promotion by the Governing Council of the Federal University of Kashere followed a rigorous external assessment process, with all three independent assessors delivering favorable reports on his academic and professional contributions.
Prof. Saidu Adamu’s distinguished career spans several renowned institutions, including Modibbo Adama University of Technology, Yola; Kwararrafa University, Wukari; and the Federal University of Kashere, where he currently serves as the Head of the Accounting Department.
An accomplished Chartered Accountant, Chartered Tax Practitioner, and Certified Management Consultant, Prof. Adamu has consistently demonstrated excellence in both professional and academic spheres.
