Ramatpoly Rector Inspects Commencement of 2025/2026 Academic Session's First and Third Semester E-Examinations
Earlier this morning, the Rector of Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, Engr. Dr. A. B. Abubakar, accompanied by the Director, Quality Assurance Directorate, Dr. James Ishaya Ngamjiwa, inspected the commencement of the 2025/2026 First and Third Semester Examinations being conducted through the Polytechnic’s electronic examination (e-exam).
The inspection exercise, which took place at the Polytechnic’s Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), was aimed at assessing the smooth commencement, and effective implementation of the e-examination process.
The First and Third Semester Examinations for the 2025/2026 Academic Session commenced today and will continue throughout the first week of the examination period, from Monday 29th June to Saturday, 4th July, 2026, with students participating in the e-examination sessions.
During the inspection, the Rector observed the examination process and interacted with officials responsible for the successful conduct of the exercise. He commended the ICT Directorate and other relevant units for their efforts in ensuring a seamless and efficient examination process.

Engr. Dr. A. B. Abubakar reaffirmed the commitment of the Polytechnic’s Management towards strengthening digital transformation, improving academic processes, and adopting modern approaches that enhance credibility, transparency, and efficiency in students’ assessment.
He further charged all personnel involved in the examination exercise to maintain professionalism and ensure strict compliance with examination guidelines, while encouraging students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to academic excellence.
The successful commencement of the e-examination marks another milestone in the Polytechnic’s continuous efforts towards improving service delivery and aligning its academic operations with contemporary technological advancements in tertiary education.
