Rivers State University Celebrates George Sobomate Musa: Best Graduating Student in Agriculture

 Rivers State University (RSU) has celebrated the extraordinary academic achievement of George Sobomate Musa, who has emerged as a standout scholar in the Faculty of Agriculture.

Musa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics with First Class Honours, recording a stellar Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.55 out of 5.00 for the 2024 academic session.

Musa’s graduation is marked by several rare distinctions that set her apart as a top-tier academic talent:

Departmental Excellence: She was the only student in the Department of Agriculture and Applied Economics to graduate with a First Class.

Faculty Leader: Beyond her department, she stood alone as the sole First Class graduate across the entire Faculty of Agriculture.

Overall Best: Her consistent performance throughout her four-year tenure earned her the title of Best Graduating Student (BGS) in the Faculty.
