RSU VC Receives NANS Executive Council, Pledges Commitment to Student Welfare

The Vice-Chancellor of Rivers State University (RSU), Prof. Isaac Zeb-Obipi, has reaffirmed his commitment to student welfare and development during a courtesy visit from the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Executive Council, led by President Comrade Olushola Oladoja.

Prof. Zeb-Obipi, a former student unionist, highlighted his past reforms as Dean of Students' Affairs, including restructuring the Student Union Government, introducing e-voting, and ensuring direct funding to the SUG account. He emphasized the importance of student leadership in shaping future leaders.

Comrade Oladoja commended Prof. Zeb-Obipi's management team for maintaining a safe campus environment and steady electricity supply. He also congratulated the Vice-Chancellor on his recent induction into the NANS Hall of Fame and announced his nomination for a national award at the upcoming 45th Anniversary of NANS.
