Sa'adu Zungur University Directs Graduating Students to Obtain NERD Clearance for NYSC Mobilization

Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) has announced a new policy requiring graduating students to obtain a Nigeria Education Repository and Data Bank (NERD) clearance for National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) mobilization. This directive is effective from the 2025 Batch "C" mobilization.

Requirements for NERD Clearance:

To obtain the clearance, students need to:

- Visit the NERD Portal 

- Click on "Preliminary Upload for Thesis/Project"

- Have the following documents ready:

    - Functional Email Address

    - Soft Copy of Thesis/Project

    - Certificate/Statement of Result

    - Passport Photograph

    - NIN Number/Slip

- Upload a copy of their certificate or statement of result when requested for attestation letter

Obtaining the NERD Clearance Slip:

After verification, students can obtain their NERD clearance slip at the Academic Office, 2nd Floor Senate Building, Gadau. Only graduates with NERD clearance slips will be processed for NYSC mobilization.
