Gunmen reportedly invaded a students’ hostel near Nasarawa State University’s Engineering Campus in Gudi and abducted SIX students alongside a visitor

According to reports, the armed men stormed the lodge in Anguwar Ninzo around 9PM and whisked the victims away to an unknown location while terrified students watched helplessly.

Imagine sending your child to school to become an engineer… only to receive a call that they’ve been kidnapped from their hostel. Nigeria is gradually becoming a place where students now fear lectures, roads, and even their own rooms.

The police say a joint rescue operation involving the DSS, military, NSCDC, vigilantes, and tactical teams is already ongoing. The Commissioner of Police also visited the scene and promised that everything possible is being done to rescue the victims safely.

Many students in Nasarawa are now reportedly living in fear, while parents across the country are panicking over the safety of their children in school hostels. Some people are even saying they would rather keep their children at home than risk sending them to universities in unsafe areas.
