Sokoto State Government Announces Verification Exercise for Indigenous Students

The Sokoto State government has announced a verification exercise for indigenous students at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS), as part of the process for paying their school fees.

The exercise, scheduled to take place on March 15 and 16, 2025, at the Sultan Abubakar College, Sokoto, will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

According to the announcement, students are required to attend the verification exercise, as failure to do so may result in their school fees remaining unpaid. The exercise is aimed at verifying the students' credentials and ensuring that only eligible students receive the state government's sponsorship.

The announcement was signed by the Special Adviser to the Sokoto State Governor on Students Matters, emphasizing the importance of the verification exercise in ensuring transparency and accountability in the payment of school fees.
