SUBEB Boss Visits Kogi Poly Rector, Encourages Stronger Synergy

The Rector of Kogi State Polytechnic, Professor Salihu Sanusi Avidime, on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, received the Chairman of the Kogi State Universal Basic Education Board, SUBEB, Mallam Abdulrazaq Muhammad Yusuf, during a courtesy visit to his office.

The visit explored opportunities for strategic collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in strengthening the Kogi State Polytechnic Staff School as a model for quality basic education through teacher capacity building, curriculum enrichment, ICT integration, and educational innovation. The partnership is also expected to extend to research and policy support, technical and vocational education initiatives, and other programmes designed to create a seamless progression from basic to tertiary education while advancing human capital development in Kogi State.

According to Mallam Muhammad, the visit underscored SUBEB's commitment to fostering a robust institutional partnership with the Polytechnic, anchored on a shared vision of advancing quality education and human capital development across the state.
