Success Story: KASU Staff secures Scholarship to pursue PhD in Russia
Mustapha Lukman of the Department of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at Kaduna State University has won a scholarship to pursue a PhD degree at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University in St. Petersburg, Russia monitored by myschoolnews.
He won the Doctoral track of the Open Doors Olympiad to study for Three years (+ One-year Preparatory Program) in Materials Science with a specialisation in drug design and synthesis.
The Olympiad is organised by the Association of Global Universities, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the Federal Agency for the Commonwealth of Independent States Affairs, Compatriots Living Abroad, and International Humanitarian Cooperation.
The competition is aimed at talented foreign students who would like to enrol in master's and postgraduate programs in Russia for free.
The winners of the Open Doors are granted free early admission at any Russian university, without an entrance examination and with tuition fees covered by the Russian Federation.
