Taraba State Ministry of Tertiary Education Embarks on Strategic Familiarization Visit to Taraba State University

In a bid to strengthen tertiary education and promote self-sufficiency, the Taraba State Ministry of Tertiary Education recently paid a familiarization visit to Taraba State University (TSU), Jalingo.

 

The delegation, led by Professor Nicholas Oliver Namesson, Honorable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, and Dr. Ahmed Kara, Head of Service, was warmly received by the university management, headed by Professor Jonathan Rubean, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration).

The visit aligns with the vision of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, Executive Governor of Taraba State, to support and drive self-reliance, sustainable development, and innovation within the state's education

Professor Namesson identified critical areas requiring urgent intervention and reaffirmed the government's commitment to revitalizing these facilities. He commended the university management for their progress and emphasized the administration's dedication to enhancing production capacity and self-reliance.

 

This initiative demonstrates the state government's commitment to strengthening tertiary education and fostering economic sustainability within TSU, reflecting the visionary leadership of His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas.
