Twin Sisters Begin Mass Communication Journey at McPherson University

On the fourth day of the 2025/2026 registration exercise at McPherson University, a pair of twin sisters, Okunaeyife Mary Cynthia Ogechukwu and Okunaeyife Gloria Nwanneka, joined the 100-level Mass Communication programme, bringing ambition and creativity to the campus.

On the fourth day of the 2025/2026 registration exercise at McPherson University, a pair of twin sisters, Okunaeyife Mary Cynthia Ogechukwu and Okunaeyife Gloria Nwanneka, joined the 100-level Mass Communication programme, bringing ambition and creativity to the campus.

Originally aspiring to study Law, the sisters discovered a passion for Mass Communication and expressed a shared desire for independence and innovation. “We don’t want to work for anybody. We want to learn, grow, and build something of our own,” they said, highlighting their entrepreneurial vision aligned with the University’s mission to nurture self-reliant, purpose-driven graduates.

Hailing from Enugu State and residing in Ogun State, the twins learned about McPherson University through a family friend. Ogechukwu enjoys dancing, creating TikTok content, and watching movies, while Nwanneka, more introverted, prefers resting and spending time on her phone.

Combining Ogechukwu’s creative energy with Nwanneka’s reflective nature, the sisters aim to become influential voices in media, embodying the vibrant spirit and promise of McPherson University as a hub for future changemakers.
