UAST Ihugh Announces 2025/2026 School Fees and Registration Guidelines for Fresh Undergraduates
The University of Agriculture, Science and Technology (UAST), Ihugh, through the Office of the Bursar, has released the approved user and service-based charges for newly admitted undergraduate students for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The university also reminded students that the online Post-UTME screening exercise is currently ongoing and will close on Friday, 30th January 2026. Registration for candidates who pass the screening will commence on Monday, 16th February 2026, and close on Friday, 27th February 2026. Late registration will attract a 10% surcharge on the approved charges.
Approved Charges by Programme Category
Group A – Non-Laboratory / Non-Workshop Programmes
- Benue State Indigenes: ₦265,000
- Non-Benue State Indigenes: ₦365,000
Group B – Laboratory / Field-Based Programmes (Sciences and Agriculture)
- Benue State Indigenes: ₦310,000
- Non-Benue State Indigenes: ₦425,000
Group C – Engineering and Computing (Workshop/Studio Intensive)
- Benue State Indigenes: ₦340,000
- Non-Benue State Indigenes: ₦455,000
The fees cover examination levies, library services, ICT and e-learning facilities, medical services, laboratory/workshop charges, accreditation levies, utilities, health insurance, departmental and school registration fees. Tuition remains ₦0.00 for all categories.
Payment Options and Incentives
- Split Payment: 70% payable at resumption/registration; 30% by mid-session
- Early Payment Discount: 5% for full payment before official resumption
Students must adhere strictly to payment deadlines to retain registration and examination eligibility. All payments must be made through the University’s official portal via approved banks; cash payments to individuals are not accepted. Step-by-step instructions and a list of designated banks will be provided.
Accommodation (optional): Standard bed-space is ₦160,000, charged separately.
