According to the clarification issued by Aforka Faith E., Acting Public Relations Officer of the Students’ Union Government (SUG), the information did not emanate from the University’s management but from individuals attempting to exploit students under the guise of offering accommodation.

The University reaffirmed that hostel accommodation is open to all students of the institution and that allocations will be made on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Management further emphasized its commitment to transparency and fairness in all student-related matters, assuring that no student will be denied access to accommodation unfairly.
