UDUS Senate Confirms Prof. Shehu Usman Gulumbe as New Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic)

A distinguished Professor of Statistics in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, Prof. Gulumbe has made notable contributions to multivariate analysis, statistical computing, and applied mathematical research. He presently serves as Director of the UDUS Consultancy Service and is regarded among the institution’s leading researchers.

 Prof. Gulumbe has contributed to scholarly research in multivariate statistics and applied data analysis, including studies addressing climate change impacts in Northern Nigeria using co-kriging techniques. His work reflects a blend of theoretical development and practical application in the mathematical sciences.
