UDUS Warns Students Against Taking-Up Residence in Binji Hostels

The management of Usmanu Danfodio University, Sokoto (UDUS), has cautioned the students not to take domicile at Binji hostel, building, or properties.

This was contained in a flyer released on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, and signed by Prof. S.Y. Tsagem, the Deputy Dean II (Private Hostels), Students’ Affairs Division.

“In the effort to serve you better, you are hereby notified that ALL students are strongly advised not to enter into any residential agreement and/or take up residence in any of the Binji residential (Hostel) buildings on the UDUS Main Campus,” the flyer stated.

Meanwhile, students are advised based on their interest not to take up any residence at Benji hostel or building, due to a result that the university authority is yet to sufficiently resolve some issues over the services the landlord provided.

Lastly, students seeking for more information are advised to contact the Students' Affairs Office or any officials of the Students’, Union (SU).
