A high-level delegation from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the University of Abuja (UniAbuja) conducted a strategic facility visit to the Police Air Wing's aircraft maintenance base on Tuesday.
The visit aimed to establish corporate partnerships and initiate discussions regarding the acquisition of a decommissioned aircraft for student training and technical research.

The university delegation was received by the Commissioner of Police, Police Air Wing, CP Martin Nwogoh. Leading the academic team on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, was the Provost of the College of Health Sciences.Strategic Infrastructure for Academic ResearchThe primary objective of the visit was to explore institutional synergies between the law enforcement aviation unit and the university's expanding engineering ecosystem.
