UNIABUJA Management Visits NILDS to Strengthen Strategic Partnership and Research Collaboration

 The management of the University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has reaffirmed its commitment to institutional excellence through a high-level courtesy visit to the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS).

The delegation, led by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Hakeem Babatunde Fawehinmi, met with the Director General of NILDS, Professor Abubakar O. Sulaiman, to deliberate on deepening the long-standing relationship between the university and the Institute.

During the meeting, both leaders identified critical areas for synergy, with a specific focus on advancing academic and practical research. Key sectors slated for collaboration .

Professor Fawehinmi was accompanied by a robust team of principal officers, including the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Professor Rosemary Udeozor; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Muhammad Umaru Ndagi; Acting Registrar, Malam Sambo Mohammed; and the Bursar, Madam Shiva Rae Kondoun. Also in attendance were the Directors of Procurement and Physical Planning, as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, Professor Mutiulah Olasupo.

The visit underscores UNIABUJA’s proactive approach to bridging the gap between academia and legislative practice, ensuring that the university remains at the forefront of national development and policy discourse.
