UNIABUJA Student, Remy Chukwunyere Wins National Design Competition

Remy Chukwunyere Destiny, a 16-year-old 100-level student of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Abuja (UniAbuja), has emerged as the overall winner of the National Design Competition organized by the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), an agency of the United Nations, in collaboration with the National Gallery of Arts.

Destiny won a design tool pack worth one thousand dollars and has expressed his gratitude to God, his parents, the University, and everyone who has supported him. He said, "I am happy and proud of this day. My next task is to work harder to make my dreams of becoming a greater designer come real."
