BREAKING: UNICAL announces resumption date, lectures to commence Tuesday, October 25, 2022

The management of the University of Calabar, (UNICAL) has announced resumption Date following the suspension of industrial action by ASSU, the university has set Tuesday, October 25, 2022, for lectures to commence while students resume on Wednesday, October 19, 2022, myschoolnews reporting.

The Senate of the University of Calabar has today approved the resumption of academic activities for the 2020/2021 and 2021/2022 Academic Sessions as well as the release of amended Academic Calendar.

The release signed by the Institution's Registrar Mr. Gabriel Egbe disclosed that the amended Academic Calendar covers the Second Semester of 2020/2021 and First Semester of 2021/2022.

It informed that other Students are expected on Campus on Wednesday October 19, 2022 and will commence lectures on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

The release further stated that registration for Amnesty/Mop-up examinations will commence from 17th-19th October, 2022.

The release has accordingly called on all categories of Staff to be at their duty post as the Institution prepares to welcome Students back to Campus.

The Registrar, on behalf of the Vice Chancellor, welcomes all Staff and Students back to Campus and pray for a fruitful and hitchfree session.
