UNILAG Appoints Dr. Adewumi and Dr. Olayemi to Key Roles

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has made significant appointments, reinforcing its commitment to excellence. Dr. Olayinka Omowunmi Adewumi, from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, has been named Acting Director of the Innovation and Technology Management Office (ITMO). Simultaneously, Dr. O. O. Olayemi, from the Department of Business Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences, has taken on the role of Coordinator for the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme.

These appointments, effective from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025, reflect UNILAG’s dedication to fostering innovation, technology, and business leadership. Dr. Adewumi expertise in fluid and mechanic transfer, will undoubtedly contribute to ITMO’s strategic initiatives. Meanwhile, Dr. Olayemi’s background in business administration will enhance the MBA program, ensuring a dynamic learning experience for students.
