UNILAG Opens Direct Entry Screening For 2025/2026 Academic Session
The University of Lagos has commenced the sale and processing of its Direct Entry (DE) screening forms for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The exercise, which covers all undergraduate programmes, will run from Monday, 22nd September to Friday, 3rd October 2025. The fee is fixed at ₦3,500.
According to the guidelines, only candidates who made UNILAG their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB Direct Entry application are eligible. Applicants must possess at least five credit passes in relevant O’level subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained in a single sitting. In addition, candidates must be at least sixteen years of age by 30th September 2025.
Expelled students are barred from applying, while those previously withdrawn for poor academic performance may only reapply into a different course. The university emphasized that no candidate who fails to participate in the screening will be considered for admission.

Registration Process
Candidates are to apply online via the official UNILAG portal at https://unilag.edu.ng. Steps include:
- Click on 2025/2026 Direct Entry Application when prompted.
- Log in with DE application number as username and surname in lowercase as password.
- Generate and print the payment advice.
- Pay ₦3,500 at any commercial bank or through the online payment platform.
- Return to the portal, click Continue Application, and complete the form.
- Upload all relevant academic results, such as First Degree, HND, OND, JUPEB, A’ Level, NCE, professional diplomas, O’level, and international equivalents.
- Preview entries, confirm accuracy, and submit.
- Print the Direct Entry e-registration slip.
After online submission, candidates must present the printed e-registration slip along with all credentials at the Admissions Office, Room 174, Senate Building (First Floor), between 22nd September and 3rd October 2025.
Important Notes
- UNILAG maintains a zero-tolerance policy on drug abuse; any candidate who tests positive before or after registration will forfeit admission.
- Personal details must be consistent across all submitted documents; discrepancies may lead to disqualification.
