UNILAG categorically denied authorizing any social media groups, including WhatsApp or Facebook, or third-party individuals or organizations to facilitate its admissions process. The institution declared such activities as fraudulent, urging the public not to fall victim to these deceptive offers. Both the giver and receiver of any form of consideration in exchange for fraudulent admission are complicit and could face legal consequences.

The university warned that it will take legal action against anyone involved in these unauthorized practices and urged the public to report suspicious activities to the university through the provided official email channels. For accurate information on admissions and other university services, the public is advised to consult the university’s official website. https://unilag.edu.ng/?p=43732
