UNILORIN Alumnus Dr. Omotade Omotosho Honored with 2024 National Diaspora Merit Award

Dr. Omotade Omotosho, an alumnus of the University of Ilorin, has been honored with the 2024 National Diaspora Merit Award. The award ceremony was recently held at the State House, Presidential Villa, Abuja, where Dr. Omotosho was recognized by the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission for his exceptional contributions to philanthropy and his role as a model for Nigerians living abroad.

Dr. Omotosho, who is renowned for his impactful philanthropic initiatives across Europe, notably assisted the Nigerian embassy in the successful evacuation of Nigerian students during the Ukraine conflict. He currently holds the position of Director of MBA Programs at Coventry University's UK Campus in Wroclaw, Poland.
