Unilorin VC and Kwara Speaker Applaud AbdulRazaq’s Appointment as Sardauna of Ilorin

The Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, and the Speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, have both lauded the appointment of Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq as the Sardauna of Ilorin by the Emir of Ilorin, Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari.
In a statement released on Sunday, August 31, 2024, Professor Egbewole described AbdulRazaq's appointment as “befitting and well-deserved,” acknowledging his exemplary contributions and leadership in promoting peace and harmony in the Ilorin Emirate and Kwara State. Egbewole also expressed gratitude to the state government for its support of the University over the years.
