UNIMED Faculty of Nursing Science Hosts 5th Induction Ceremony with Focus on Nurses’ Migration

The Faculty of Nursing Science at the University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, invites the public to its 5th Induction Ceremony into the Nursing Profession, set to take place on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

This milestone event, themed “Nigerian Nurses’ Migration: Brain Drain or Brain Gain?,” will commence at 10:00 AM in the University Auditorium on the Odosida Campus, with an online streaming option available at http://bit.ly/UnimedMedia.

The ceremony will feature an insightful keynote address by Prof. Adesola Ogunfowokan from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, exploring the implications of nurse migration on Nigeria’s healthcare system.
