UNIPORT VC Assures Pharmaceutical Sciences Faculty of Support

The Vice-Chancellor of the University of Port Harcourt, Professor Chike Princewill, has assured the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of his administration’s commitment to supporting its growth and development.

Professor Princewill gave the assurance on Monday, August 10, 2026, when he received a delegation from the Faculty, led by Professor Lucky Nwidum, during a courtesy visit to his office.

The Vice-Chancellor commended the Faculty for its achievements and encouraged its management to strengthen engagements with sponsors, development partners and other relevant stakeholders to attract support for its programmes and infrastructure.

He reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to creating an enabling environment that would promote teaching, research and innovation within the Faculty.

Earlier, the delegation congratulated Professor Princewill on his appointment as Vice-Chancellor and wished him a successful tenure.

The delegation also pledged the Faculty’s support and cooperation towards the success of his administration and the continued advancement of the University.
