The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, conducted a joint induction and convocation ceremony for students of Oyo State College of Science and Technology, Eleyele, and the School of Health Information Management (SHIM), UCH, on Thursday, 13th November 2025.

The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, conducted a joint induction and convocation ceremony for students of Oyo State College of Science and Technology, Eleyele, and the School of Health Information Management (SHIM), UCH, on Thursday, 13th November 2025.

The event took place at the Nurse Tutors’ Course Hall within UCH, Ibadan.

Dr. Benson Orogbole, representing the Registrar of the Health Records Officers Registration Board of Nigeria, Alhaji Babagana Mustapha, urged the inductees to remain disciplined and dedicated in the execution of their professional responsibilities, stressing the importance of commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Professor Olubukola Adesina, Provost of the School and Chairman of the Medical Advisory Committee (CMAC), encouraged the graduands to uphold the institution’s vision of excellence in all future endeavors. She highlighted the value of integrity, empathy, consistent hard work, and lifelong learning as essential traits for navigating the evolving healthcare landscape, noting that their academic and personal accomplishments form a strong foundation for impactful careers.

Mr. Olufemi Omolade, Head of the School, expressed heartfelt appreciation to all stakeholders—including UCH Management, School Management, students, lecturers, graduands, and parents—for their vital contributions to the students’ success.

In his remarks, the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Jesse Abiodun Otegbayo, congratulated the graduands for reaching this significant milestone in their academic journey.
