University of Abuja Announces Guidelines for Combined 29th and 30th Convocation Ceremony

University of Abuja has issued a notice to graduands ahead of its combined 29th and 30th convocation ceremony, covering the 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 graduating sets.

According to the announcement, collection of academic gowns will commence on Friday, April 10, 2026, at the respective faculties, centres, directorates, and schools within the institution.

Graduands are expected to assemble in front of the Senate Building by 8:30 a.m. for the academic procession, which forms part of the official convocation proceedings.

The university also disclosed a change in schedule for the convocation lecture, which will now hold at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the Faculty of Law Lecture Theatre.
