University of Abuja Announces New Governing Council Members
The University of Abuja has announced the internal members of its yet-to-be-inaugurated 10th Governing Council, elected yesterday.

The council comprises Senate and Congregation representatives.
Senate Representatives:
1. Professor Gabriel Ukertor Moti, Department of Public Administration, Faculty of Management Sciences
2. Professor Akeem Oyerinde, Department of Crop Science, Faculty of Agriculture
3. Professor Abdul Buba, Department of Physics, Faculty of Science
4. Professor Bashir Abdullahi, Department of Information, Journalism and Media Studies, Faculty of Communications and Media Studies

Congregation Representatives:
1. Dr. Idris Othman Jibrin, Registry Department

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Abdul-Rasheed Na'Allah, congratulated the newly elected members, and photos of four of the Senate members with the Vice Chancellor have been released.
The University of Abuja looks forward to the formal inauguration of the 10th Governing Council, which will play a vital role in shaping the institution's future.
