The University of Abuja has promoted Dr. Maria Aladi Apochi to the rank of Professor, pending ratification by the Council. The promotion was announced by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Patricia Manko Lar, at the 188th Regular Senate meeting held on April 8, 2025.
Dr. Apochi, who specializes in Science Education - Biology, was among 20 staff members elevated to the rank of Professor. The promotion recognizes her dedication, resilience, and hard work in her field.
