The hands-on sessions are part of a comprehensive effort to equip trainees with practical skills in fish farming and related aquaculture practices. Participants will continue their practical learning on Monday, 16th February 2026, at the University’s Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Wildlife Management.

The training programme is conducted under the Innovation Development and Effectiveness in the Acquisition of Skills (IDEAS) Project, an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education with support from the World Bank, aimed at fostering practical skill acquisition, entrepreneurship, and sustainable enterprise development.
