University of Lagos Sets Qualification Criteria for 2025 Undergraduate Admission

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the qualification criteria for candidates seeking admission into its undergraduate programs.

To be eligible, candidates must have made UNILAG their first choice in the UTME, scored a minimum of 200 out of 400 marks, and possess at least five credit passes in relevant O/level subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.

The university has also set specific deadlines for uploading O/level results and age requirements. Candidates must upload their O/level results by September 12, 2025, and be at least 16 years old by September 30, 2025.

Registration for the post-UTME screening will take place from July 28 to August 20. Candidates who fail to participate in the screening will not be considered for admission.

UNILAG has a strict policy against drug abuse and reserves the right to withdraw admission from candidates who test positive. Former students who were expelled will not be eligible for readmission, while those whose admissions were withdrawn due to poor performance can reapply for new courses .
