University of Maiduguri Announces Resumption Dates for 2025/2026 Academic Session

The University of Maiduguri (UNIMAID) has officially announced the resumption dates for the 2025/2026 academic session, following a directive from the institution's Senate.
The decision was reached during the Senate's 321st meeting held on Thursday, November 13, 2025.
Key dates for the start of the session are as follows:
New students' registration will commence on January 15, 2026.
Returning students' registration will begin on Monday, January 26, 2026.
Lectures for all students are scheduled to commence on February 2, 2026.
"We wish all staff and students a successful 2025/2026 Academic Session," the memo stated.
