University of Maiduguri Delegation Pays Homage to Shehu of Borno

A high-level delegation from the University of Maiduguri, led by Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, paid a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Shehu of Borno, Alhaji Dr. Abubakar Umar Garbai Ibn Al-Amin Elkanemi, in Maiduguri.

The delegation, which included other Principal Officers of the University, was accompanied by the Chancellor of the University, His Royal Highness, the Emir of Lafia, Hon. Justice Sidi Bage Muhammad I.

The visit was a demonstration of respect and solidarity with the traditional ruler, who is also a key stakeholder in the university's community.
