University of Maiduguri Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Holds Handing Over Ceremony

The Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Maiduguri, Prof. Yaqub A. Geidam, presided over a formal handing over ceremony on October 3, 2025.

The ceremony marked the transition of the office of Sub-Dean from Prof. Joshua Luka to Dr. ThankGod Onyiche.

During the ceremony, Prof. Geidam presented a commendation letter to Prof. Luka, acknowledging his dedication and hard work. A token of appreciation was also presented to Prof. Luka on behalf of the staff of the Deanery, in recognition of his service. The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine expressed sincere appreciation for Prof. Luka's selfless contributions and warmly congratulated Dr. Onyiche on his new role, wishing him success and God's guidance in his tenure.
