University of Maiduguri Sympathizes with Borno State Government and People over Devastating Flood

University of Maiduguri Sympathizes with Borno State Government and People over Devastating Flood

 The University of Maiduguri has expressed deep sympathy to the Government and people of Borno State, particularly those affected by the recent devastating flood that occurred on September 10, 2024.

Acting Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, on behalf of the University community, commiserated with His Excellency, Professor Babagana Umara Zulum, and the affected individuals, praying for the prevention of future occurrences.

Due to the severity of the flood, the University has suspended lectures and closed offices to ensure the safety of staff and students and show solidarity with those affected.
