University of Maiduguri Vice-Chancellor Receives Congratulatory Visit from Peace Ambassadors

Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, the newly appointed Vice-Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri, welcomed a delegation from the Peace Ambassadors, Centre for Humanitarian Aid and Empowerment, an affiliate of the Universal Peace Federation.

The team, led by founder Ambassador Ahmed Shehu, congratulated Prof. Mele on his substantive appointment as Vice-Chancellor.

This visit comes after the university's governing council approved Prof. Mele's appointment on September 18, 2024. Prof. Mele, a distinguished scholar in English Language and Linguistics, brings over 20 years of teaching experience and exceptional leadership skills to his new role.
