UNN Issues Important Notice on 2025 Batch “C” NYSC Mobilization

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) has released an important notice ahead of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) 2025 Batch “C” mobilization exercise.

According to the memorandum from the Career Services Centre, Office of the Registrar, all candidates whose names appear on the Approved UNN Senate List – Batch A & Addendum and Batch B 2025 (both Full-Time and Sandwich) are required to carefully cross-check the list for any errors in their names, date of graduation, or other particulars.

The University further directed all outstanding candidates with JAMB registration issues—who could not register in previous batches—to submit their details along with their Statement of Result and JAMB Admission Letter to the Career Services Centre or forward them via email to careers.registry@unn.edu.ng.

Candidates who had previously submitted their details are still advised to reconfirm their entries for accuracy. The notice emphasized that any discrepancy in details uploaded to the NYSC portal—especially in names, dates of graduation, or statements of result—will prevent successful registration at the NYSC orientation camp.

Students whose Statement of Result has expired are advised to visit the Examinations Unit for rectification. Additionally, all prospective corps members are reminded to confirm their names on the JAMB Matriculation List, as only candidates recognized on this list are eligible for NYSC mobilization.

The University also reiterated that the National Identification Number (NIN) is now mandatory for online NYSC registration. Students must ensure that their names on the NIN correspond exactly with those on their Statement of Result to avoid disqualification.

All corrections, omissions, or related issues should be promptly reported to the Career Services Centre before the final upload to the NYSC portal.
